Kobato Cosplay : Headband Part 1

Hello~!

I though that I was going to be able to make a big tutorial today for the headband but it seems that I'll be forced to do it in various parts since I had a lots of stuff to do. I have some personal stuff going on and the Pastry banquet that I'm organizing is also taking some of my time, so I'm having some trouble to get some free time to make my cosplays (2 for me and 1 commission >.<; )

Anyway, let's do this while I can! :D

Headband part 1:

This is just a small part of it, with a little tip.

Before starting, lets see how the headband looks like and add some notes.



After that lets see what we need?
-Lace
-White Fabric
-A headband
-Glue
-Thread and needles

***I'm trying something new for this, normally for the flowers I could've made them in clay (Fimo) or just draw them. This time instead I'm using plastic flowers wich right now I'm putting some "Mod Pudge" Matte so they get harder, I'll get back to you when I see how it looks like at the end ^^;; ***

Working with the lace:

I wasn't able to find blue and white lace:


I had to paint it so it would fit with a setaSkrib + from Pebeo which its a Fabric Marker



You could also use normal fabric color Seta color OPAQUE! (if not your fabric will soak all the color and that will ruin the fabric)



Test it first!!!!!


I bought 3 meters of it (just for the headband (I'm always scared to run out of fabric xD)

At the end you will have something like this:


Let it dry for a day and add a little bit of color where missing.

Bayonetta!

So yeah, I downloaded this weekend the demo of Bayonetta.

I just wanted to see what everyone is talking about while drinking coffee and eating a toast....I found it rather fun with superb graphics, normally I like games where I can get attached to the story line but since it's a demo I wasn't expecting much. What I most liked of all was battle system, kinda remind me of SF (she even has a Chun Li style kick! :0!).

While I was playing, my boyfriend came by while I was laughing at the Sexy final attacks that main character makes. He just made me realize that if he was playing I would've called him a perv, while me as a female they can only "Wow" at me from playing this kind of games.
I know most of the video game players are guys, couldn't they just make some kind of game like Bayonetta but for a female gamers? (Like Devil May Cry and WWE mixed together?)
Still, That wouldn't change the fact that I'll call pervert all the guy who i see playing that kind of game... and also make stupid Yaoi jokes, hehe..yaoi..hehehe..

OwO miam miam~! New Figures!

Yeah, I had to talk about...

With this years release of the the new Max Factory Figma figure of Hakurei Reimu from the doujin danmaku Touhou series, a new figure of Marisa Kirisame started the pre-orders last Friday.



Also, the Good Smile Company started the pre-orders at the same time for the Sakuya Izayoi Nendoroid.



Both figures will be officially released at the end of april 2010 :3
